Uniform, Gear and Deals

Here's a quick list of what your player is going to need to play baseball this spring.

Gear:

• Baseball glove - for youngsters just learning how to catch, make sure they can close it and its not too stiff 
• Batting helmet - everybody needs their own 
• Bats - everybody needs a bat. For T-ball -6th grade IT MUST HAVE A USA BASEBALL STAMP (For Senior Ball (7th and 8th) BBCOR, USSSA, and USA bats are ok)
• Cups - required for 3rd grade and up (recommended for all ages)

Uniform:

• Pacer blue and black jerseys.
• White pants (long or knicker style)
• Pacer blue socks (sock color doesn't matter if you wear long pants)
• Black belt (not wearing a belt will make every coach cringe) 
• All uniform items can be ordered at our GearUp site https://lakeridge.gearupsports.net/

 Optional items:

• Batting gloves
• Eye Black - it costs 3 bucks, makes your player feel like a big leaguer, and your insta post 10x better
• Catchers gear - If you have a player that loves to play catcher AND you have the means to go buy a set of catchers gear we would love it. However, that is not a requirement and the league has catchers gear to provide to the players.

Lastly, our annual Pacer Youth Baseball 20% off weekend at Dick's Sporting Goods will be TBD. Dick's has been very supportive of our league over the past few years. Their staff is pretty good at helping you find the right glove or bat. They even have a new fancy bat demo cage.
