Below are the details on a 13U select team for 2025. Please see below the (no cost) registration link for tryouts, as well as additional details.
Eligibility: In general, any player born between May 2011 thru April 2012 is eligible by age, but this also includes incoming 8th graders with birth dates after April 2012.

Tryout:
- When: Sunday, September 8th
- Session 1: 9 - 11:30 am - Coaches meeting with parents at 9 am during warmups. 9:30 - 11:30 am will be practice/drills including infield, outfield, and hitting.
- Session 2: 4 - 6 pm - Live scrimmage. Coaches will also pull players aside for pitching and catching.
- Where: Lakeridge High School Varsity Baseball field
- Please note that the high school coaching staff would like to keep the tryout closed. The goal is to make the sessions feel as much like a normal practice as possible so that the players can relax, do their best, and enjoy playing baseball with each other. There will be time allocated for a coaches meeting with all parents to address the tryout and upcoming season.
Roster: 11-12 players
Season:
- Winter: Dec-Feb: Flexible training sessions
- Spring/Summer: March - July: Full practice and tournament and game play
- 2-3 practices per week
- 6-9 tournaments
- Regular season games and scrimmages
- Potential to play in 13U tournaments (80 ft bases, 55 foot mound) and JBO games (90 ft bases, 60 ft mound)
Cost: $1,500 per kid. This includes uniform and team gear.
**Any player that does not make this team will still have the opportunity to play in our JBO/Babe Ruth program during Spring and Summer 2025. That is a no cut program for 7th and 8th graders.**
