Below are the details on our 12U Select team for 2025. Please see below for the (no cost) registration link for tryouts, as well as additional details.

- Eligibility: In general, any player born between May 2012 thru April 2013 is eligible by age, it is not strictly a grade-based program. The only restriction a player born prior to May 1st, 2012 is not age eligible.
- Tryout: (more detail to be provided as we get closer to the date):
- When: Sunday, October 27th
- Session 1: 10:00 am - 12:30 pm - Coaches meeting with parents at 10 am during warmups. To address the tryout and upcoming season. The duration may flex depending on number of players that sign up. This session will be practice/drills including pitching, catchers, infield, outfield, and hitting.
- Session 2: 2:00 – 4:00 pm - Live scrimmage
- Where: East Waluga Park field #2
- Structure: Lakeridge High School coaches will run the tryout, evaluate the players, and make recommendations to the Board on team formation.
Please note that the high school coaching staff would like to keep the tryout closed. The goal is to make the sessions feel as much like a normal practice as possible so that the players can relax, do their best, and enjoy playing baseball with each other.

- Season:
- Winter: Dec-Feb: Flexible training sessions
- Spring/Summer: March - July: Full practice and tournament and game play
- 2-3 practices per week
- 6-9 tournaments; some tournaments may be replaced with round robins and/or single games
- Play rules: 50’ pitching mound, 70’ bases. Leadoffs, balks, full baseball rules
- Cost: $1,000 - $1,500 per player. This covers uniforms, team gear, tournament costs, insurance, umpires, and facility costs.
**Any player that does not make the 12U Select team will still have the opportunity to play in our Majors program during Spring 2025. That is a no cut program for 5th and 6th graders.**
